The Ultimate Girls Trip to Vegas

No longer reserved for gamblers and wild bachelor parties, Las Vegas now has everything the female heart desires. Once considered a playground for groups of men, Las Vegas also offers a blissful escape from the daily grind for women. In fact, a girls trip to Vegas is becoming more and more popular.

According to statistics at insiderlv.com, 50% of visitors to Vegas are women and 79% of Vegas visitors are married. That means more and more women are visiting Sin City for the ultimate girlfriend getaway.

The Ultimate Girls Trip to Vegas

Start your trip off right and arrange an airport pick-up through Presidential Limousine Company. Instead of waiting in those long taxi lines, you’ll be greeted at baggage claim with a personal driver who will help with your bags, present each lady with a rose, and open a bottle of champagne while he whisks you off to your destination in style.

Once you’ve unpacked, you’ll be itching to check out the infamous Las Vegas shopping. If you aren’t on a tight budget, The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace have over 160 stores that will keep you looking fabulous throughout your stay. With shops like Coach, Express, Guess, and BCBG, you’ll be glad you brought your Visa.

Be sure and stop by Café Della Spiga for some mouth-watering gelato and a cappuccino to keep your energy level high and your ultimate Las Vegas girlfriend getaway moving in the right direction.

The Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood are another shopper’s paradise. Victoria’s Secret, Betsey Johnson, Bebe and H&M are just a few of the stores here. Enjoy the experience under a beautiful painted blue sky with occasional “thunderstorms.”

After a few hours of shopping, you’ll be in need of some rejuvenation. No Las Vegas girls trip is complete without a spa treatment. But in Vegas, who has the time to spend all day at the spa?

MGM Spa in Vegas

Fortunately, the MGM Grand Spa has an Express Menu with shorter, slightly more affordable treatments so you can have the day spa experience and still have plenty of time to party. Try the 25-minute “Soothe the Sole” treatment for your feet or the 25-minute deep back and neck massage to work out the knots from carrying your shopping bags.

After you’ve been pampered, take time to primp and dress in your new outfit. Your entourage will likely be in desperate need of a good meal. For excellent food, good service and reasonable prices, try Mon Ami Gabi at The Paris, a French bistro with a little bit of everything. The meal begins with the delivery of a baguette and wine recommendations. This is a perfect girls trip Vegas dinner!

The Gustave Lorentz pinot blanc is fruity and delicious. Whatever your selection, you won’t be disappointed with selections ranging from salads, sandwiches, fish and a filet mignon that melts in your mouth. Mon Ami Gabi is always packed at dinnertime for a reason.

After dinner, poll your ladies and decide: will the evening be naughty or nice? If all the wine has made your group bold, take a cab to the Excalibur and check out Thunder from Down Under. The internationally acclaimed male revue, named in the Las Vegas Review-Journal as the Best Male Revue two years in a row, is the perfect combination of sexy, naughty, and fun. The 70-minute show has a no-tipping policy so you can focus 100% of your attention on the six-pack abs as the dancers gyrate onstage and off.

Afterward, get your picture taken with the hot men and make your girlfriends who stayed home jealous.

nightclub Vegas

If your group isn’t feeling up to Australians in thongs (after all, you said no men, right?) head to a nightclub and do the dancing yourselves. The most popular EDM DJs can be found at Omnia, XS, Marquee, and Hakkasan. The hottest hip-hop clubs are Drai’s and Light. Any of these clubs will make for a perfect ladies night in Vegas.

Las Vegas has some of the most liberal drinking laws in the country. With bars that never close, it’s easy to overdo it. If your crew wakes up after a night of fun with a serious hangover, force yourselves to get out of bed and get to one of the Oxygen Bars on the strip.

Oxygen therapy has many benefits including headache relief and detoxification benefits. After a 20 minute treatment, which costs $22 and includes a scalp, neck, and back massage, you’ll be refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to grab another Cosmo. Maybe.

By the end of your girls trip to Vegas, you’ll be so tired that going back to being a wife and mother will sound welcoming…. maybe!

You’ll have pictures, souvenirs, new clothes, and memories you wouldn’t trade for anything. Years later, all you’ll have to say is “Thunder!” to cause your group of girlfriends to dissolve into the kind of giggle fit only Vegas can cause.

Hope this article helps you plan your ultimate girls trip to Vegas with the best limo service, spa, restaurants, shopping and nightclub for a girls trip Vegas style!

WHEN TO VISIT LAS VEGAS

The best time to visit Las Vegas is from March to May and from September to November. While you’ll find plenty of travel deals throughout the year, the spring and fall shoulder seasons offer the most moderate weather.

Traveling To Las Vegas Soon? Here are a few tips:

How to get there: McCarran International Airport is the main airport in Las Vegas. There are flights on a multitude of airline carriers. Las Vegas is also just a four-hour drive from Los Angeles.

Where to stay: There are many places to stay in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is a wide range of hotels, from budget to luxury. For a luxury hotel that won’t break the bank, I recommend the Wynn Las Vegas, which is currently the #1 hotel on Tripadvisor. For a mid-level hotel, I suggest the Aria Resort & Casino.  Finally, for a budget hotel, try the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. You can also check HotelsCombined for the best Las Vegas Hotel Rates.

Hotels in Las Vegas: Check Trip Advisor reviews for Wynn Las Vegas or Aria Resort & Casino

What to pack: In Las Vegas, seasons can change pretty fast. It’s hot in summer and can drop into the low 30’s in the winter. Number one– you’ll want a good pair of walking shoes. You can easily walk miles daily. Just getting from one casino to another can be a trek (I love Keen).  Vegas gets cold in Winter, you’ll want to pack layers including a light sweater or scarf.
