During a visit to El Paso, I took a day trip to Juarez, so I’d love to share more about my experience, so let’s dive into this borderland together, shall we?

Now, I know what you’re thinking – isn’t that the place where, well, things are, um, complicated? Yeah, you know, that reputation.

Yeah, it’s rough around the edges, sure. We won’t sugarcoat that. But Juarez is also vibrant, like a mercado overflowing with chilies and spices that’ll singe your soul in the best way possible.

How do You Get from El Paso to Juarez?

There are six border crossings in the El Paso region that allow the cross-border movement of privately operated vehicles, pedestrians, buses, commercial trucks, or rail cars. Each of these bridges connect El Paso to its sister city.

El Paso Del Norte bridge is located in El Paso, Texas, at 1000 S. El Paso Street on the U.S. side and on Juárez Avenue on the Mexican side. This port of entry is dedicated to pedestrians (northbound and southbound) and passenger vehicles (northbound) and includes Ready Lanes for travelers with identification documents that include RFID chips.

Puente Internacional Córdova-Las Américas also known as Cordova Bridge is another of the main routes from El Paso to Juarez.
