Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm is a very fun and entertaining experience. On my most recent visit, I had an amazing time going on a large majority of the rides. From roller coasters to the log ride and the swings, visiting Knott’s Berry Farm was one of my favorite things I did this year in California.

The rides at Knott’s are different from other amusement parks. One example is that the lines are significantly shorter. I went on about 20 rides and some multiple times. Some of my favorite rides were the log ride, big foot rapids, the pony express and wipeout. I had a great experience on all the rides I went on.
Ghost Town was one of many sections of the park. Other areas in the park are Camp Snoopy, The Boardwalk, Calico Park and Fiesta Village. Ghost Town was a replica version of what a town in the old west would have been like in the 1800’s. In Ghost Town they put on shows, people dress up like the old west and acted like they live in the late 1800’s. The staff were really funny and nice. The people who dressed up as characters were also super nice.
My favorite ride in Ghost Town was the Pony Express. The Pony Express is a roller coaster that is very fast and it’s fun because it has a lot of thrill while at the same time not being too much for people who don’t like super extreme roller coasters. What’s cool about this ride is the seat is a replica of a horse with bars in front that you hold on to. After you climb on the horse, there is a pad that pushes you forward so you are leaning forward the whole ride. The best part of this ride is the launch because it’s super fast and fun.
My overall experience at this park was amazing. I loved Knott’s Berry Farm, it’s a really cool place to visit. If you plan to visit California, I strongly recommend going because it’s a very fun experience. It’s one of my favorite amusement parks I’ve been to!
Knott’s Soak City
On the second day of our trip, we went to Knott’s Soak City, which is one of my favorite water parks I have been to. When we got there, it was slightly crowded, but not like some water parks which I was really happy about. My first slide was one of the smaller slides, Malibu Run, where you sit on a tube and go down your pick of four slides. I did these slides a few times. Some of these slides you were in the tube the whole time and others opened up part of the way down the slide. What I really liked about these slides, was the line moved really fast because there was more than one slide.
Another favorite slide was Banzai Falls. It’s like the racing slide they have at fairgrounds, except this one has water. It was fun because it was really fast. While it has a pretty long line, it was definitely worth it. My favorite slide at Knott’s Soak City was the Pacific Spin. This is a two or four person slide. My mom and I shared a two-person tube. When you first head into the tunnel you drop 75 feet and end up in bowl that looks like a funnel. When we landed in the funnel, you go back and forth until you get funneled out under a waterfall and into a pool. This was my favorite because it was fun, exhilarating and fast.
Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel
Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel is really nice. It has really nice beds and air conditioning. The hotel is just a quick walk to Knott’s Berry Farm and Knott’s Soak City. It was really cool, because instead of having to get in the car and drive, it was just a short walk. The day we went to Knott’s Berry Farm, we took a break in the afternoon because it was hot. That was really cool because we could have a short rest and then go back to the park. Not to mention, you can easily get there in about five minutes.
A big thank you to Knott’s Berry Farm. My mom and I were guests at the parks. Even though we didn’t pay to enter the parks, this article is about my true experience.
